Wonderfully Made is our special needs ministry created to help children and families experience the love of Jesus in an environment where each child’s unique needs are valued.

A Place Where Every Child Belongs

Wonderfully Made exists to create a safe, welcoming environment where children with special needs can participate in church and experience community in a way that works for them.

We know that every child is different. Some children may need additional support with communication, sensory needs, mobility, learning, behavior, or other areas. Our goal is not to change who your child is, but to understand them and provide the support they need to thrive.

What is Wonderfully Made?

Wonderfully Made is a special needs ministry at Watts Bar Community Church designed to provide individualized support for children who may need additional assistance while participating in church.

We partner with parents and caregivers to learn about each child's unique needs and prepare our team to provide a supportive, welcoming experience.

Individualized Support

We take time to learn about your child and their unique needs so we can provide appropriate support.

Prepared Volunteers

Our team works to make sure a volunteer is scheduled and prepared to serve your child each Sunday.

Family Partnership

Parents know their children best. We want to work alongside your family to understand what helps your child feel comfortable and successful.

How Wonderfully Made Works

1. Register Your Child

Complete our Wonderfully Made registration form so our team can learn more about your child and their individual needs.

2. We'll Connect With You

Before your child's first Sunday, a pastor will reach out to your family to discuss your child's needs, answer questions, and make sure everything is ready.

3. We Prepare Our Team

We'll use the information you provide to help prepare and schedule a volunteer who can appropriately support your child.

4. Come Join Us

Once everything is ready, your family can come to church knowing our team is prepared to welcome and support your child.

Registration is Required

To make sure each child's needs are properly met, all children must be pre-registered before participating in Wonderfully Made.

For new families, registration must be completed by Thursday to guarantee a spot for the following Sunday. This gives our team enough time to review your child's information and schedule a volunteer to accommodate their needs. Currently, we are only offering this ministry during our 11:30am service on Sundays.

Who is Wonderfully Made For?

Wonderfully Made is designed for children who may benefit from additional support while participating in church because of a disability, developmental difference, sensory need, communication difference, medical need, or other individual needs.
