Why We're Building
God has been moving powerfully at Watts Bar Community Church. Every week, lives are being changed — but with that growth comes challenges:
We believe God is calling us to take the next step: building a new home that will serve this generation and the next.
- Our current building can’t contain all God is doing.
- Even after multiple upgrades, we’ve simply outgrown the space.
- We moved to three services (8:00, 9:30, and 11:30 AM) on September 28th to help with the crowding, but we still don’t have room for everyone to gather together.
- Since 2022, we’ve been unable to host churchwide meals and homecoming gatherings because we lack the space.
We believe God is calling us to take the next step: building a new home that will serve this generation and the next.

God's Solution for our Future
Our dream is more than walls and square footage — it’s about creating space for people to encounter Jesus.
The New Building Will Include:
- A larger sanctuary to worship together.
- An expanded children/nursery wing to disciple the next generation.
- A gym and fellowship space to bring the whole family and community together.
This dream has been years in the making. While past fundraising efforts didn’t fully cover the cost to move forward, we want you to know:
- Every dollar previously given is still in a dedicated building fund. Nothing has been lost. Every past gift still matters and will go toward this vision.
- We’ve already paid for full architectural plans, a huge step forward.
- We are working closely with our contractor to break the project into phases so we can finally break ground and build momentum.
21 Days of Prayer
Before we build with bricks, we’re building with prayer. From October 5–25, our church family will unite in a 21-day journey of scripture, devotion, and daily prayer at 1:57 PM, based on our campaign verse (2 Chronicles 15:7).
Our Story
For more than 40 years, WBCC has been a place where outcasts and outsiders find a home. That’s four decades of worship, ministry, and lives transformed.
Now, as we step into our 41st year, we believe God is calling us into a new season of hope — our “Day 41” moment. Just as God’s people waited through the wilderness, we believe the waiting is over, and the promise is here.

“The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house.” — Haggai 2:9

How You Can Get Involved
Not everyone can give in the same way, but everyone can make a difference. Here are some ways to be part of this journey:
- Pray daily for God’s provision and guidance.
- Share the vision with friends and family — invite them to pray and dream with us.
- Serve faithfully in a Crew, a Sunday team, or with WBKids.
- Encourage others by sharing stories of what God is doing in your life through WBCC.
- Give generously — whether it’s a one-time gift or a pledge, every dollar helps move us forward.

Give to the Campaign
Your generosity will help bring this vision to life.
Every gift matters. Every step counts. Every story is part of this bigger story God is writing through WBCC.

Our Mission Remains the Same
At the heart of this campaign is more than a building — it’s our mission: Love God. Love People. Serve Others.
Every brick, every prayer, every gift is about creating space for more people to encounter Jesus, experience His love, and be equipped to serve. Together, we’re building more than a facility — we’re building a legacy of faith that will impact generations to come.
